what do you use to scan? I`m only asking as you pic has a slight softening. I have problems with incorrectly focused scans from velvia (using a primefilm scanner (Jessops). Negs are fine but slides...not so.

i use an epson 3170 flatbed for scanning and yes, i get sharper scans from negs and prints than i do from slides, i probably forgot to sharpen after scanning, also the resizing for epz takes it's toll on quality.
