Love this image - I also have photographed petals of tulips a while ago. I love the fragility and beauty of these petals. See this

I saw the colour version of this yesterday, but it was in the crit gallery. I couldn't fault it really, so it's a pity I couldn't click!
I prefer it actually, but I like this mono version too, it's a good subject, relying on form and tone.
I also looked over some of your other shots - some very nice stuff you've produced.
