i took the photo about 3 weeks ago at Shell Bay, from the cafe looking over towards Brownsea Island. Over the past couple of weeks at college we have been working on new techniques in Photoshop this is one of what i have been working on please tell me what you think thanks natalie

I think you've turned it blue...

Sorry for the flippant answer, but really you've used an effect, and different people will react to them differently. I'd love to see what the original looked like. Edit - sorry, seen a very similar one in your PF which looks lovely to me.

Just a technical point - the horizon's sloping - easily fixed with a wee rotation. and while it might have been like it at the time, there's quite a marked changed fro light to dark across the sky. Were you using an ND grad filter? if so it could have been moved down more. If not, maybe the blue colorised effect accentuated this difference
