winter sunset three

By nads69
the last three photos i have uploaded have been a bit of an experiment as we have been studying colour temperature at college, we got told that if you are taking sunsets or sunrises & set your camera to the tungsten setting it will give you the most amazing blue colours on the photo & the sun will appear more white in colour well as you can see i think it works. so i would just like to say i have not over saturated the colour they are just as they have been taken. so they were shot on tungsten w/b setting with a 29 apperture & a 50 sec shutter any constructive construction will be greatful thanks natalie

Really like the colour acheived in this shot, and the lightburst of the lamps.

Two things. One, AWESOME shot. Love the perspective, the blues, and the starry lights. Two, thanks so much for sharing what you learnt!! I'm gonna try the tungsten setting for sunsets the next time and any sky shot to see how it turns out. See? EPZ is such a cool place particularly 'cos of photographers like you Smile
