These birds look so different and so beautiful when captured close up. Absolutely lovely.
You are wowing us again, allowing us to do some viewing of your action pictures, this one showing the starling's harrowing landing, a downswing that was almost an overswing, following his slowing down to land and then clawing the tree branch growing below, vowing to do better next time, with a twinge of guilt about the near miss, knowing it was really owing to the wind blowing in the wrong direction
