  • Foxgloves at Lanyon Quoit, West Cornwall.

Thanks everyone for the votes, comments and awards. Lanyon Quoit has been photographed to death, usually from the same viewpoints. The area surrounding the stones is short ( bovine nibbled ) grass which tends to leave the stones looking as though they are on fake velvet with no contrasting forms to hold the image in the frame. I made the choice to add the foxgloves into the frame, the flipside to my decision was that the long grass swept into shot. I liked the 3 clouds in this image so this was my keeper from this location today. Plain, simple and somehow I think it works.
