Iron Age Hut ( remains of )

By natureslight
This is the remains of a small iron age hut, the floor is a single piece of granite. There is debate as to the exact use of this particular hut due to its small size. It could of been a grain store or similar. The wall would of been about 4 ft high and it would of been topped with a thatched conical roof.
The open bleak moor would of once been covered in a lush forest.

Bodrifty, Mulfra Hill, West Cornwall.
