Chance meeting of a Tornado

By Natzdad
Stopped off at Nene vally railway on the down to London, there was an engine on the station....and this was it,lucky eh?

60163 Tornado is a main-line steam locomotive built in Darlington, England. Completed in 2008

It is a copy of a 1940s design, built by the London and North Eastern Railway to pull trains on the east coast mainline, the last of which was scrapped in 1966.

The locomotive is named after the Panavia Tornado military jet.

Brill - love how you have captured the steam! Looks almost like a 'HDR' effect.
