Nice shot and composition but what's that white dot in the center, in the cloud?

..................and there's another to the far left. Are they sea birds?

Thanks all I was just about to call it a day and go home, glad I stayed just that bit longerGrin

I think the white spots must be sea birds Lauren, that will teach me to wear the right glasses and check things out properly before I post. LOL

Gorgeous light making a stunning shot. Not to detract but I think there is some vinetting and it might just help to bring back some detail around the corner areas , especially the bottom right. But very jealous! Great capture.

Stunning shot. Its one to get framed and sold. I quite like the vignetting and think it leads the eye in nicely to the subject. The detail in the lower right corner wouldn't add much to the shot in my opinion.

I used to live in Newcastle and I just remembered this is where they filmed some of the Harry Potter movies. Second vote to you if I were allowed Smile

Thanks for the comments PinkK, AEVANS10, TONKSPHOTO and Colbyrob 1 the bottom right of the photo was in shadow so had little detail before any work was done on it.

The Harry Potter films were made at Alnwick castle Colbyrob 1 but I believe Bamburgh has been used for other films.

I count myself lucky as I only live about five miles from Bamburgh and had my lunch overlooking the castle and beach today. ( A scotch pie from Carters the butchers on the main street ) LUXURYGrin
