  • Roaring Skies

The background is real, I am using a wide angle lens and it has a mind of its own when you try to get a level photo in terms of rotation. I appreciate your feedback

  • The Flute Salesman

Thank you for the contribution folks, Checking out the different versions I think I am quite fond of the black and white version. I did intend the car to be in the background but in a blurry way. I was trying to get him to be as still as possible but he would not stop playing the flute. I did not use a tripod, I held my breath. Moira, I am too a little hesitant about placing things in the center, but This one just seemed right. As for the color treatment, I simple made the temperature warmer. It was quite a difficult shot to take without a tripod, but I will upload some other versions. Dudler, I have some more versions of this. The way he approached me was quite interesting, he wanted me to buy a flute for $3 and told me that he did not sell anything that day, nobody buys flutes anymore. Since I don't play the flute, I compensated him to play the flute instead of selling me a flute. Then I realized that there was an interesting photo here. His facial expression was quite sad, I felt a little bad asking him to hold still while playing. Pamela I will upload some more versions, there may be one that has his flute more visible. Paul I completely agree with you on the background lighting, I was going a little overboard adjusting highlights on lightroom.

Thank you for the comments and contributions, I will upload another photo of him soon.

    Thank you Moira,
This shot was taken from a moving car. I completely agree with your opinion on prime lenses. I did try and adjust the black and white levels on photoshop.
Thank you so much for your feedback, I look forward to the modification.
