The Passion Is Back

I was really into photography, I am 20 years now and I became a member of this website since I was a practically a kid! I used to take photos with my brothers DSLR, it was not anything nice or fancy but that to me and him was gold. I also had a cellphone with a decent camera. I took advantage of what I had. I had my Nikon D7000 stolen a few months before I graduated High School. I am glad that I still had the photos that I took on the last few memorable days. I was sort of traumatized or perhaps depressed is the right word after having my camera stolen. I was the guy who would take it everywhere. I would take it everywhere. I was born and raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh and I moved to Greensboro, North Carolina 2 years ago. I got myself a D800 with a 50mm prime lens, I never really used it. I was always into landscape and nature photography but I did take great photos of my friends and their natural habitat. I got myself a landscape lens and every since I got it I was 16 again. Now I take my camera everywhere again, I take it to my college classes, I take it to places even though I know I may not take a decent photo there I don't care I still take it with me. It sort of became my companion. I like traveling a lot and traveling is what I shall continue to do as long as I am able to do so. I plan on visiting Dubai or perhaps Thailand this summer, Thailand would be great to take street photos but it is Dubai that I am hoping for. I want to take night long exposure photos. That is something I want to do but at the moment I am trying to go to the Blue Ridge Parkway here in North Carolina to take some photos of the mountains. I am in no way a professional photographer. Instead it is a hobby which I very much love.
