The Birds...

By NDODS
Good Day to you all at ePz

Thank you for taking the time out to view, comment and vote on my image 'Welcome to Brighton' which I uploaded yesterday. A further thank you goes to: Williamsloan (Billy), Luckybry (Brian) and Kurt42 (Kurt) for their User Awards.

Todays images were captured last week whilst spending sometime in Brighton. The light was somewhat hazy out at sea so it was rather difficult to define the location of the horizon, however I did manage to capture this image as the roosting birds took flight.

I hope that you all have a great day whatever you may be getting up to. The weather in Worthing is gorgeous at the moment so I may be venturing out for a stroll along the pier later on.

Regards as always Nathan GrinGrinGrin

Oh wow Nathan, V2 really is soooooo good filling the screen, worth viewing large.

Super with the mist creeping around the pier in V1 too. Love the birds too.

Have a good day Nathan, cool here for the Sheffield half marathon

Stunning images Nathan! Interesting though that for me. V1 would be more appealing. V.2 is powerful, I think for me, a little too much so. V1 is beautiful. People respond differently, eh!

V1 for me, for the sense of distance and mystery, and sadness. There's something of the Marie Celeste here, a ghost ship abandoned to the sea and the gulls.

2 excellent images but prefer V1, but only just, great photography

Two excellent captures Nathan, I love V2 it is quite dramatic with all the birds flying around the structure. Some interesting shapes in the structure too adding more interest to the image. Enjoy your day, we have gales and rain in Cumbria after three beautiful warm, sunny days.SmileSmile

Two outstanding images, Nathan. The birds circling the stark pier against the backdrop of the reflected light from the sea make these images superb. Wow!
