A quick view of Neddy's recent activity.

  • The Supermoon from Leyland, Lancashire

Superb shot. Lots of detail. I managed a shot at 300mm, ISO 3200, 1 sec. f/5.6 on a Canon 70D but detail nowhere near as good and slight evidence of motion blur due to longer exposure.

My apologies! I must look closer next time!

  • Belgium Airforce in action at the Duxford airshow

Was there but missed the flares each time! Excellent photo.

    Beautiful model and lighting.

  • St. Stephens Tower (Big Ben)

I have to own up! The original is shot in RAW, but to get the clock detail visible I made a correctly exposed layer, but the clock face was overexposed. I then made a second, under exposed layer, which brought. out the detail in the face, superimposed the correctly exposed layer on top and erased the top clock face! It always pays to shoot in RAW.

  • Hawker Hurricane

Sorry, it is NOT a Hawker Hurricane! It's a Hawker Sea Fury.

  • RAF Vulcan

    Well done, a great view.

I was hoping to see the Vulcan back in the air this year, but at each airshow I intended to visit the show was either cancelled or the aircraft was unairworthy.

Hope that they can afford to keep it airborne in 2009 !
