the eyes have it

a girl from the steampunk festival on saturday at Lincoln. she was dressed in an amazing set of copper pipe wings and feathered hat but all i could see was her amazing bright eyes. she was really quite camera shy and a little shaky to start with but we managed a few shots with her mothers encouragement.

one thing i can guarantee you at this event, is that if you button hole a person to photograph there will be hoards of photographers who dont like to approach people appear from nowhere and dry to bustle you out of the way.

the best thing was, another lady, who was one of the steampunk stars of the day, bustled in to my side and took the shot i was setting up of this girl, and then refused me the opportunity to photograph her. so i did what i dont like doing and hustled some grabbed shots of her, -- and im tagging her on to this one for spite GrinGrin

seems her names Evita --- well dont cry for me Smile

thanks for looking

I would love have to attend this festival Phil, but I guess it is not easy to get decent shots for reason you described but you captured them both well here.
