Hi!

Thanks for your comment on my photo. I really appreciate it.
Your pictures are really great. Love them.

Hi Phil,

Thanks for the comments, suggested improvements and the modified example on my beach hut photo, all very helpful Smile

I had a go in photoshop and I can see exactly what you mean about distorting the photo to make the vertical lines straighter. Certainly a tip I will look out for in the future.

Thanks again.

Thank you for your comments on the Obersee hut picture, especially the height idea. The lens was set to 14mm its widest angle and I don't know why I did not try and get the whole hut in the frame. However it was very rough underfoot and it may have required clambering/ climbing skills that I do not have. I may cycle back the 1000km later this year and try again.

Phil .Thankyou for your thoughts on my portrait of my mum. I repect all opinions and I think I lean to yours re the b/g, inthat I did want to place her in a retirement home (photographicly speaking). And therefore a hint of a call button works. I think , Thanks for your time, merry christmas. Arte

Hi, thanks for the helpful comment. Unfortunately I can't fit filters to my camera - it's a midrange compact. The software I use to edit photos is the standard iphoto, I haven't seen any layering tools, do you know is it possible? I can't afford anything more, so for now I have to use what I've got.
I really like your work, it stands out.

I have looked at your images and, I have to say, I've been blown away by them.
Living on the edge of the Peak District, I am familiar with many of the locations and, seeing your pictures has made me realise I need to get out there more.
Thanks for the kick up the backside.
