Hi guys,
While i was working the other night i stopped here for a punter to use a cash point,
and while i was waiting i was thinking this would make a nice pic,so lastnight i parked up and left the headlights on and was lying down just in front of the cab,i tell yer there were a few people that thought id been run over by my own cab lol,
ill have another go at it tonight with a bit of light left in the sky,,
anyway ill see what you think and thanks for looking,,
and large is good if you have the time,,

chears ian...

The loneliness of the long-distance cab driver. This is very eloquent, from a very personal viewpoint. It will be interesting to compare with a more daylightish shot, but I reckon this needs the darkness and the bright lights.

Classic newy17 shot with superb rendition of the lighting. Trouble is, you wouldn't get this view in daylight!

Feeling a bit homesick for my Parents at the moment Ian. They are in NZ and as you know they are from Liverpool.

I know how much they would love your images and Im thinking of getting some off you and making a DVD for them.

I know when they look at books and see programmes on telly they always like to spot where it is etc etc.

This image just reminded me of them doing that so its a sentimental award Im giving you. Smile

Your night shots Ian are always something special and you have some fantastic images but for some reason this one just meant something to me.

And thats what photography is all about Smile

Can just picture you lying in the road to get this fabulous shot, lucky it was thr middle of the night so not many people about to see the mad cabbie at work.....LOL! Well seen and taken Ian, I think I prefer this to the rainy one, though still admire your ingenuity with it!
Rgds., Jim
