Sandstone & Secrets

By NexusImages
Morning All,

Huge thanks for the response to my last upload Smile. I popped up to Thurstaston rocks last night to finally bag a shot that I have been after for weeks. It's for a lady I met up there who insisted it was her secret bench....who am I to argue Smile. Long exposure through the ol' ten stop, f/5.6 & 194 seconds.
Thanks for looking. I hope she likes it!

Great looking image, Amanda. I have'nt gone down the big stopper route after a negative experience with an early Hitech version that may well have been a 100 stopper. If you looked through one directly at the sun for a few hours you might possibly discern a faint light patch! This image convinces me I need to get a Lee and try again Smile

thanks Cor. Alun, I strongly recommend having a play with one until you get it just how you want. I had mine a few months before I managed to make it behave. It's still hit and miss (for example, the black clipping on the right of this image). Thanks Rich, Trev Smile, Cliff, Ryan and Paul. Comments very much appreciated.
