Some may consider it clichéd be it the location, the mono etc (mentioning no names Ade ), but Grosmont to me is about the people, the men and women who make it work, have a permanent smile on their face doing what they dreamed of all them years ago. This is what they dreamed of when they first saw the train go round that track on the living room carpet on Christmas day ca 1970.
On my recent trip I set myself a project to capture the guys in low light, convert to Black and White. The idea is for it to be viewed together, so I may get round to look at the gallery feature.
To compound matters, I can see far more trips to the NYMR, albeit a different station. At the weekend my best friend from School contacted me after almost exactly 30 years - he now lives in Goatland!!
