Peak Panoramics - Curbar Edge II

By Nick_w
Well how do I follow the last upload from 2010 - Big thanks to Pete and Wolfy for the EC & GEA.

**********************************

I hope you are well over your hangovers by now !

Something a little lighter than my last upload some of you will be glad to hear!

This is the second in a trilogy of Pano's of Curbar edge (This was the first) . A much loved and togged location, but one who's splender never ceases to amaze me. When I go out I usually go out with a couple of aims, my primary target this particular day was to get a good Pano.

This is another stitch using CS5 - I must say I'm impressed up to now with it. In 3 panos I only had one very minor misalignment (not on this one) and that was more down to my sloppy technique in the field.

Anyway please give the large a whirl the thumbs / small view doesnt do it justice - and I had to compress it quite a bit just to get to the 800 Kb size limit.

I've got to agree with you Nick, the thumb doesn't do it justice. LARGE is a must. This is another sure-fire winner

Excellent view and light Nick. There is a darker blue area centre sky then lighter either side which is slightly odd but non the less a grand image.

Thanks Yung, Sylvia, Trevor, Fran, John & John.

And a big thanks to Dave for the User award. Smile

John (Parminter) it does look strange, but its there on all the RAWS, On the original (which is over 1/2 metre wide at 360 dpi) its caused by the double cloud bank, the lighter area is the sun reflecting off the lower cloud bank, from Memory there was a cloud overhead too which will have reduced the luminance in the central area.
