Oof, what a lovely bit of light and a fine sky to boot.

I bet you were wondering whether you'd actually seen the sun prior to its appearance? Wink

Lovely stuff mate,

Too right it was flat before this and 5 minutes later there was only a thin strip of light. Not complaining tho. Must go back soon.

Very nice indeed Nick. The sunlight catching on the waves really lifts the image.

Good grad stack Nick.

Dont you find though its had the effect of completely destroying all the detail on the rhs cliff face , and anything else above the transition line come to that. Ambient reflections would have played their part ?

Guess that's the trade off unless fusion.

I like that rock on the third though Smile

I could have pulled some detail back Dave, just didn't feel it was important for this image , it is very dark even when bathed in direct sunlight (can't remember how much grad I had, but would probably have been 4 or 5 stops. I took this 18 months ago, I probably wouldn't even bother with grads these days.

LOL... She'll be back - if I can get the right source images that is, the "model" wants too much in repayment!!!

There's no sin in using a little stock when you cant shoot a bee or rope to add to the flight.

So long as its not plagiarism , its a good laxative..
