The Kings Shilling

By Nick_w
So Internet back on..first trime in 10 days (other than combling together tethering to my phone !!!)

I dont think this is the final image, but WIP, using a new lighting set up, a large lightbox as opposed to strobes. I have a big thanks to say for this Wink

The postcard is a guenuine WW1 one, all books predate the war, the glasses I believe are authentic -and the guy in the picture is my great uncle killed at Bullecort in April 1917 (so doesnt quite tie in with the postcard).

Ok normal EPZ service will be resumed shortly -due to internet probs I havent been able to do any of my critique team responsibilities.

Great props Nick,good content.
That lighting has worked very well, nice & gentle over the whole scene.
Just one teeny thing...I want to see the end of the watch chain,I know it's a minor thing but everything else is just about 'whole' except for the chain. That was the very first thing that came into my mind when I looked at this so...had to be said Wink
Nice extra badge too,well done.

Thanks Janet in a number of ways, yes your right (it's why it's turned green), it's nearly there and the watch., not just the chain is the bit that doesnt sit right for me, I spent 1/2 hour trying to get it right but..... Bring on peter pan Wink

Oooo, that's a pretty green colour but it don't go with my eyes sadly Wink
Peter Pan is late arriving !!!
I would have curled the chain just in front of the watch or used it on top of that nice box & draped the chain over need an old packet of fags or an old metal match striker box or something similar just to stand it on I think to give it a tad more height maybe ?...dunno,props are difficult enough to find at the best of times !!
