Head First ...

By sut68
Coming into land this rider was heading nose down ... he landed it safely enough, though there was a little moment when I thought he wouldn't.

Cheers all for your persistence on these shots ... had a great day on Saturday and therefore there's a 'few' I'm pretty happy with ... thanks for indulging me Grin

Indulge away, I'm enjoying the photos. I also like the explanation surrounding them as they really help set the scene. Everything is pin sharp which is not easy with all of the dust, I would have liked a slightly slower shutter speed to blut the wheels a bit as it looks slightly frozen. However looking at the lighting I'm not sure if this would have been possible as the DoF is great.

Fair point George, one that I had made with a few of the shots I took and something I will be trying more of next time - along with more panning and slower motion shots.

LOL @ JP ... MOTOCROSS, get over it Wink

Big thanks all ... cheers too MrB Smile

Huge thanks guys for your time on this one and your comments too. One of my faves too Rich, I tried to get more of them in dusty shots like this but due to the field getting stretched out a little at this part of the track and the breeze on the day, there wasn't huge amounts of dust when the slower riders came through ... maybe next time though Grin

Ta all, enjoy your afternoons Smile

What a great shot. It so shows what these fellows go through, the dirt and dust and danger. How they even can see sometimes. What a sport!...........Sandy
