Eilean Donan Castle - TZ8

By Nickscape
This was taken on my little TZ8 on the tripod, I'd taken a few shots with the normal camera but decided to give the Panasonic a try as the light was very uniform and I quite like the native 16:9 format on the camera to give the wide shape to the image. This is straight out of the camera with only a little sharpening to finish it off, the quality is quite eyeopening really with only a little noise & blur in the deep shadows.

Very nice scene. The transition of various shades of tones is very pleasing to the eye. The captured light is just icing on the cake. Well done here!

They aren't bad little cameras are they! I've got a TZ7 and it has a film grain mode I'm really fond of.

Nice pic Nick!
