Nornans Bay

By Nickscape
this is a section of the well eroded groynes which run along Normans Bay on the east sussex coastline between Eastbourne and Hastings. Looking up the naturally very steep stoney beach away from the sea, i liked the lines of the groynes running into the sky. This was taken mid afternoon and a ND grad was used to hold the sky back a little.

Color popping and well composed!
The lead in to such a superb sky makes this an all around great work of art photography.

Yes, strong image. But two points: the right side of the sky is a deeper blue. Must be a filter problem for this is not a natural phenomenon. Second: the exposure for the foreground element could have been better. Bit washed out in its highlights now. Still a great image. Cheers, Bert

Thanks for all the great comments, really appreciate it! agree with the slight overexposure in the foreground, im still learning the balance with the new filters, definatly something to work on, thanks Bert.
