Snow in the Peaks

By Nickscape
Heres one from saturday during a very tricky walk up to Whinstone Le Tor overlooking Ladybower Reservoir. The snow was very deep, further up the path towards the top the snow was around 3ft deep in places so it was really slow going but the view was beautiful from the top. This is about half way up when we had a little bit of sunlight illuminating the footprints in the snow. Straight shot for a change with no filters.

A lovely upland snow scene, Nick. Has great depth with good f.g interest and detail, good lead-in lines and very natural winter colours. Nice work.

Caught some nice light there. And that wall seems togo on for ever. Crook Hill looks great in the snow.
