now I'm no expert as the previous two will testify (they have improved loads of mine but I wondered about going a bit further than Willie (Banhawi) suggested and cropped some more of the field and sky out and a bit on the left and right to make it a sort of panorama shot but it brought the cattle out a bit more making them the centre of attention

  • Snowdonia 50 runner 3

Question to everyone else ... 1 pernickerty point.

The gorse bush is masking the runners foot, i find that distracting ... Does anyone else?

Fully agree guys but it was a bit of fun to send a quick "snap" to my wife as she was at home. I was surprised how well it came out the normal camera's are either my 7d or a Nikon P5100 compact but i'd need a computer as well then to download them ... maybe i'll get a laptop later on this year but I carry enough with me already Grin

THanks for taking the time to look and comment.

  • Prudential building in Liverpool

in english Bren ?Grin I didn't know if I should be trying to straighten them or not - you don't get this trouble with wildlife Grin but I saw this corner and had to take the shot before the bus turned the corner...

Jack, OK on the mod - thanks for that i'll have a play and see what I can do in LR.

Yes as you both say a bus isn't the best "tripod" to use but I probably wouldn't have seen the building or got the shot from the ground so being on the top deck of an open top bus was a bonus.

  • Female Common Darter

    Cheers Frank,

I did wonder should it be landscape or portrait but then opted for portrait... still wondering if it would be better landscape Grin

Yes after I'd posted it I did think it looked a bit in the middle ... I'm sure it wasn't like that in LR4... maybe it was and the eyes weren't working so good lol!

  • Seeing as you are one of the first to comment on my offerings I thought I'd take a look to see if you know what you're on about ... do you or what !!!

Absolutely stunning makes me want to break the S9600 out again , Im sure it never took photo's this good for me! but I still keep it as a walkabout camera when I'm either out with the dog or in the garden (super macro on it)

You are more than qualified and I am humbled !

  • Gobsmaking !!! Your obviously better with PS than me Grin
