Niobe Fritillary

By NigelKiteley
Many thanks for all the feedback given to the Panoptes Blue, very much appreciated.

A pristine Niobe Fritillary on Scabious photographed in Spain in June.

This is one of my favourite butterflies from Spain, and this is one of my favourite shots from this year. It would have been uploaded a long time ago but the memory card it was on was corrupted and i've only just been able to retrieve all 600 or so images from the card.

That's a lot of images to lose, however the story ends well with this cracking capture Nigel.
