Silver Spotted Skipper

Thanks for the votes and comments on the Long Tailed Blue, and especially to Annette for the UA, all are very much appreciated.

I met up with former EPZ member John Starkey yesterday in the hope of bagging Silver Spotted Skippers (a lifer for him) aswell as Chalkhill Blues at Aston Rowant. Glad to say that the Skippers didn't disappoint and we must have seen at least a dozen. As thin white cloud rolled in just after lunchtime this little beauty was happy to pose for us. There were also hundreds of Chalkhill Blues, including a couple of copulating pairs. All in all it was a really good day and John went away a very happy bunny.
