A piece of the remaining sea defences at Happisburgh, North Norfolk.
Although I now live in Derby, the family and I go back to 'The Shire' where I spent the first 18 years of my life to visit friends and family. I always go back to Happisburgh for an early morning jaunt when we are down there. I love the dynamic landscape there, and to see how its changed over the previous 12 months.
It changed in the space of 5 days! After this shoot, i went back in the afternoon with the kids 5 days later - there had been several cliff falls (some just an hour before we arrived!).
Because the defences have been left to ruin, the cliffs are eroding so quickly now. Wonder what it will look like next year?
