Trees are brilliant photographic subjects and this one, in particular, demanded its portrait to be taken as we couldn't take our eyes off it! It's like something from the pages of a fairytale storybook with its character and strong lines standing out from way off. It's like a strong sea gust blew in and froze it in motion. The movement in this shot is great as are the contours and shape of the branches. It's just a really great tree! This was a crop from a shot with a portrait orientation as it looks better with a closer crop rather than having loads of foreground around it.

Pretty Building

I Love An Old Door

There's just something about old doors that shout to me and as a result, I've been photographing them for quite some time now. All of the history and stories they could tell... plus, they have great designs and are much more interesting to look at ...
