Back To The Graveyard

I said I really enjoy a walk around the graveyard so here's another shot from the same Graveyard already mentioned a few blogs back...

After photographing the Angel, I was about to leave but just happened to look left and I couldn't resist capturing this shot that seems to take you on a journey through the graveyard... Old gravestones, trees and the old church all shouting 'photograph me' - these places are just magic.

We had to see what the shot looked like in B&W, of course, and below is another I captured from the same spot just at a slightly different focal point and angle.

When the bell tolls...

It's important that we look in all directions when taking photos and by looking up, I spotted this bell tower reaching out of the tree. I love the simplicity of this with just the sky, tree and bell featuring in the frame.

Pretty Building

They have revamped a lot of old town in Paphos but this building still has some of its original charm about it. The red frames and shutters pop against the whitewash and there's also some interesting detail when you get up close.
