These box-like constructions can be found dotted along the coastal path from Lighthouse Beach to Paphos harbour. They used to feature benches and were welcomed shade from the hot sun but now they’ve fallen into slight disrepair so instead, they make great photography tools.
Frames within a frame are great and this one clocks your attention on the sea nicely. I had to play around with the angle, moving my feet to get the framing just right. This was the second shot on the return walk and I like the shadow shapes that have appeared thanks to the change in angle of the sun.
This one is a slightly different angle and if you look really closely, you can see the shipwrecked MV Demetrios II which marooned on rocks in 1998.
