I loved it when Trigger said he had the same broom for 20 years,
and he only had 17 new heads and 14 new handles in that time !!

I took a picture of this unusual variety some time ago and have only just edited it. I liked it so much that I bought one recently and it bloomed beautifully....died off now, unfortunately.

Haven't seen this variety - will have to get up to Dudmaston and have a look. Love the processing which makes for a very romantic image.

Wonderful colour and as you say normally yellow, only colour I've ever seen before. Makes the feral goats drunk as the colour comes out in spring.
