A walk thro' local parkland, & watching some swans & geese.....& this inquisitive Robin came to see what we were up to !!

He perched about 8ft away, & let me get about 5 shots of him, before getting bored & flew off....probably because we'd got
no food to offer him (or her ?)........

V2's a different 'pose'.....presumably his 'good' side ??.Grin

Grateful thanks for all your C & C's on 'Chapel Stile......glad you liked it !!

Lovely sunny day today for a change, but the darned lawn's growing like the clappers !!!.....Grrrrrrrr !!!

Yes Keith,a little poser you have here.
Good shots.
And after 36 years of marriage my wife had one good idea,
when she said the lawn was getting a bit much for me,so we should get it slabbed over !!

Like both images equally, Keith, but there's something particularly endearing about that inquisitive gaze down the lens barrel in V 1 and that ever so slight tilt the head.

Robins give me the run around, they wait until I take my eye off the camera and then they pounce knowing that I'll miss the shot..............they are true posers as well, love em to bits.

rather grainy/noisy I wonder if this has anything to do with the Lumix as I had a similar problem today after processing I noticed a lot of grain from the LeicaSad otherwise a good robin shot

Nice capture of a Robin! Reminds me of home in North Carolina except ours are black with the yellow chest.

Ann (Pluckyfilly)......there is some grain evident in the plain areas of the b/g, the ISO was set to 400 !!......I usually have
it set to 100 or 200 for best results on the FZ45......but hadn't checked it beforehand !!......I'm happy with the shot though,
as I'm no expert on 'birdy' pics, & just grab the shots as & when they present themselves....& for a 'compact' with a small
sensor it ain't bad ??........

I can't justify spending big bucks on long lenses that would only be used for less than 1% of my the FZ45 does me fine !!!!

8 ft away! That's close...what a treat Smile

When I saw V1 and then V2 I suddenly heard Madonna sing, "Strike a pose, there's nothing to it...VOGUE"

Excellent captures, Keith.
