  • Ballerina?

Truly awesome capture this and one I can only admire. The dust spots let it down ever so slightly and can be removed with a few clicks in photoshop. Well done.

I can't really add to what's already been mentioned. I love this candid, the vibrant colours and pure white scarf really set it off. The 'hook' is the only real issue as the eyes are drawn straight to it. Place your little finger over it and watch the picture come alive! Wink

  • DH Vampire.

A fabulous capture of one of my favourite aircraft. Was there two of them present on the day? The only concern for me is the slope. If the chimneys weren't sloping too I wouldn't have an issue.

I think we've all tried this at some point and you've done a fine job capturing the 'crown'. It's pin sharp which is always essential in my world. I don't think the pink card has helped here, it splits the screen and is much darker to the left. There seems to be a lot of sensor dirt spots, a clean is advisable although they can be removed in post processing, tedious though it is.

  • Internet danger!

Quote:Effective and well constructed. Not really much else to say. You know what you are doing. There are a few minor indications of work such as a slight light line round the girl, but well done.

Thanks Paul. The halo is a result of pushing the shadow/highlights a tad too far.

  • Dragon fly

1/1250 sec should have frozen the action easily but the insect is blurred. Unfortunately, the focus point is on the branch. At f5.6 the depth of field is very shallow. Stopping down to f16 and bumping up the iso to 800 would have given you more scope. On a separate note, the branch seems to have a face!

  • The real batman!!

It's a shame the feet are missing but a rare capture indeed. Well done you! x
