interesting shot. the symmetry adds to the emptiness, i think. agree with the horizon comment; wondering: what would it have looked like taken from ground level?

Nice simple shot with clean, uncluttered views. Agree with lower angle, it could be more powerful. Horizon is slightly out. I never noticed but I did just check it out in PS.
It needs rotating 0.8 degrees to the right which means that it's damn near level as it is. Bear in mind though that symmetry shots do need to be just that, symmetrical and straight.
That's a lesson I forgot to share with you. I'll email the techniques for checking and rotating photo's.

Love the symmetry. Horizon is just a tad wonky......I have this trouble also. See if the two outside lamp posts level up so that they are the same height in the frame. This might require PS knowledge as the one on the left looks okay but the middle and right do need attention. I like the different colours of the lamp globes in the middle post. This adds to the symmetry. Well seen and great luck on your part to find it deserted!
