A stunning monochrome which I wish I had photographed, processed and presented myself.

Thanks for sharing Nishant

This is really beautiful. Your judgement of tones and contrast is spot on.

The colour version was glorious, but this is something else ... amazing how much mono can change the mood and feeling of an image!
I agree completely with Phil's comment above about your judgement of tones and contrast - masterful.

Wow, I am surprised by the number of awards this photo has gathered. Once again thanks every one for such wonderful comments and votes. Sorry I could not reply before, my laptop went black screen since yesterday night (windows 10 problems).
Nathan, thanks for such a nice comment and the award. Well, we all come around that photo once in a while.
Phil, Tanya, thanks a lot.
Tanya, yeah, I get that feeling too about the monos. I desaturate all my photos just to see if I would want to go ahead with B&W or not. With this one, the colors were catchy but I felt it has the potential to be a nice B&W as well and worked on it from the scratch after processing it in color.
Thanks NeilSchofield for the GE award, appreciate that. SmileSmile

Worth every one mate, people know talent when they see it. I knew it was you image even before I clicked. First class as always in a style that we have all come to admire and enjoy.

Whilst no doubt an excellent image, I am surprised though, that a "Tog" of your capability failed to level your horizon, having said that well done on its deserved accolades ......Grin

Techno, thanks for the feedback but I must mention that I level my photos before starting to work on them(I never used to but I have made it a practice to do so).
And you are right, I didn't level this one mainly for few reasons which are : If you look at the base line of the church is straight and leveled. If I had considered the far away mountains on the left of the church as the horizon, It would have tilted the church towards the right(or left had I have considered the mountains on the right). Another reason was if I have cropped the photo in anyway it would have cropped the nearby grass or that small wooden post in the foreground which, together, I think have a major role to play in the image. And lastly, if you look at the image, it doesn't have one common horizon to which I level the entire photo. But thanks for your comment. Smile
