    It was indeed taken at night, and the house on the left was under a lantern. Good point I could have pulled histogram a bit more though.

    What a lovely use of back-light! Simply audacious! I suggest to adjust the levels in photoshop to increase contrast and perhaps to crop at the bottom to remove the flare and improve composition.
