Blue Tit

Spotted this Blue Tit in my garden yesterday. Its deformed beak does not seem to affected its feeding. I watched it for a while and it went to seed feeders, a dedicated sunflower heart feeder and fat ball feeder. If it dropped whatever it got in its beak, it would go down to the ground, turn its head sideways and pick it up. Apparently it is not particularly uncommon for Blue Tits to have beak deformities like this.

Superb capture Chris, I have seen these before with a deformed beak. On two occasions, and I seen a Chaffinch with one leg. Didnít seem to affect it at all
