possibly in the brush footed family. (looks like only 4 legs and the front pair are held up under the "fluff" and the head looks like a point) but this might be a start for what category to look under for id. great shot, very pretty.

Most butterfly pics look much the same to me but this one really stands out - perhaps because of the muted colours.

I like the way the whole butterfly is in focus. Most of my snaps, have the tips of the wings out of focus as the b*gger won't keep still long enough for me to get everything clearly Wink
