Bass Rock long exposure

Bass Rock long exposure by Brewster

It's nice to see a good black and white landscape on here.

The cliffs leading northwards to The Kilt Rock

I was there last week and the waterfall was in full flow. The railings make it difficult to get a tripod positioned so you have done a good job framing this. I like the way the sun has lit up the rocks in this shot and the shadows show off the texture well.

Yes another vote for the B&W, which looks great.

That has brightened my afternoon. Great title and shot.

Very nice indeed. I like the diagonals in the foreground with the rocks and weed leading to the lighthouse. These are echoed by the clouds. I'm like the fact that you are not following the adage about never putting the horizon in the middle of the frame. Sometimes the rules are wrong. Nice one.

The excavation

The silhouette of the tree looks almost likes veins and capillaries on a background of white flesh. Great image.

OK that's a bit weird but sometimes strange thoughts are produced by a good image.

I really like the strong sense of light from the right. B&W was a good choice.

I like the strong horizontal lines in this. The sea almost looks like it has had horizontal motion blur added ( I know it hasn't ).
