Black Linn waterfall

These are the falls at the Hermitage near Dunkeld. I often shoot waterfalls with a slow shutter speed to get the usual milky effect but these were so powerful ( and noisy ) that a faster shutter seemed better to try and capture that power.

I agree..a splendid image capturing the sense of movement and power of the flow..Personally I dislike the "milky" approach though I accept I'm probably in the minority!
