I like elements of the composition. The curve of the bg trees in the foreground is matched by the trees in the middle distance. I think it benefits from cropping the sky.
The image lacks contrast, some of it is the atmospheric conditions of the day, however, the key trees in the foreground are particularly lacking in contrast. Some of this depends on how you do your black and white conversion. Certain methods give much better contrast. I have posted a modified one with A slight tweek to the dark end of levels and a small boost in contrast with the sky cropped.

I quite like the simplicity of this with the trees and the misty background. However I don't like the watermark smack in the middle of the photo!
You could consider cropping away some of the sky and increasing contrast somewhat (e.g. using the curves function). Also perhaps a bit of toning could make for a less bland effect. I've uploaded a mod for you to consider.
