Knoydar

By GregMcKinnon
Taken from Mallaig, looking out to the hills near Knoydart and Scottas while on a ferry to Skye. I've always loved shots like this but I'd never had the chance to capture anything like it untill then. I really love telephoto landscapes, and I tried to make sure that my 70-200 was well used while traveling the west highlands.

I am a lover of the area too and I think you caught a cracker here. Lovely layers and tones. Can't offer critique as there is nothing I would personally change.

Adore the tones and recession in your image, glorious.

Beautiful shot. I love the atmospheric perspective. the only thing I may think about and I am not sure is a slight crop off the top of the picture.

I know this is the critique gallery and we're not meant to just praise an image, but I can't think of a single thing that could improve such a wonderful work.
Simple and beautiful work.

It's lovely. The more saturated version works too, but also loses some of the mood of the original.
