The balance between the two works perfectly, I have been trying to work out why. I think it's because the irises on the right are a sort of abstract representation of the lines where the swan's head meets the neck.
OK that's enough brain work for this morning.

The right image looks as if it is a favourite place for the swan to have a quiet snooze, undisturbed and partially hidden...

This is my favorite of the set. The image on the right represents all that is good in nature.
You had a very productive walk. I envy you, I haven't been able to get out to walk for sometime, using a wheelchair almost all the time outdoors. I'm glad I have friends who drive me around, but it's not the same.
