  • I also have a TZ60, I purchased it for taking on longer walks and hikes as opposed to my Nikon D7000 and lenses. There is a difference in image quality as you would expect but I am quite impressed with it, image quality is still good, has an impressive zoom and it has RAW, which is a bonus on camera of this type.

  • Thanks for the comments, it was a great help, I have gone for the D7000 and 18-105 kit lens. Neil
  • My Nikon D80 & 18 - 135 kit lens were damaged in a recent accident. They were insured and I have been offered a Nikon D90 & Nikon 18 - 200 lens as a replacement. However the offer is flexible and I can upgrade or choose equipment of the same monetary value. Therefore I could opt for a Nikon D7000 & 18 - 105 kit lens. I am not sure what the best option would be? Any advice would be appreciated.
