It's almost a dream image due to the lack of overall contrast. As a self portrait it works in that it entices the viewer to seek more clarity and perhaps get to know you better - as presented, it's as if you only want us to see a little of you....
I like it but I would also like to see your other versions. Nicely done.

Little too much contrast. But I like the pose, as in self-portrait process Pose is good so as lighting as much as I can see from too much brightness. I will be waiting to see another versions as will. Smile Good Luck

Pose is nice, but far too washed out for my liking, needs more contrast, self portraits have got to be one of the hardest shots to take, would like to see the other versions.

I love the pose but have to agree that the lack of contrast doesnt do you any favours. Portraits are really hard as I'm finding out. Hope to see the others soon. K.

Thanks for looking and commenting, heatseeker your completely right! i took lots of photos but prefered this one which was the only one which didnt show all my face i am quite a private person irl, you may be on to something lol.
I quite liked it bright like this as it hids my tired eyes from lack of sleep and the spot i have recently aquired! I did find taking my own pic very hard as i dont like my photo taken as im far from photogenic but i quite like this one.Ive even agreed to let my hubby have a wallet sized copy!
Thanks for looking and commenting guys its very much appreciated.Ill take your comment into consideration and see what i end up with Smile

Hi love - I like the pose here - all you need is more contrast so its not so kind of faded
