White Butterfly

By obz_uk
This butterfly spent most of the time with it's wings closed ! I was just about to give up, and it opened them for a few seconds.
The frame was made in Photoshop by just playing with a few different techniques......I am still undecided that a frame improves a picture or not....but I like trying them out !

Thanks very much to everyone for taking a look at my pictures and commenting....I appreciate it very much.

i think frames are for certain types of images like flowers
not keen on landscapes in frames

Well seen and "waited" As to the frame---sometimes a frame holds an image together--sometimes it overpowers--- It can even enhance---sometimes I use just a stroke so that the image does not bleed into the background....

Beautiful shot thanks to your patience. Love how the wings of that butterfly seem to be an extension of the petals in a different color.

I too, thought it was part of the strange flower in the thumbnail. But that is how they survive. I guess I would die hungry as a predator in the insect world. Lots of fine details. Well seen.
