old timer

Welcome to my portfolio. I would say I was an 'opportunistic' photographer, in that I have no particular 'style', but I do a lot of travelling, my camera is always with me and I keep my eyes open. So please join me in my wanderings around the world.

Hi David - nice to see you're still uploading, and hope you are well. I rarely use epz at all, now.

  • For me, yours is one of the most impressive portfolios on ePHOTOzine. You have the rare ability to see below the surface of people and scenes, and the even rarer gift of being able to translate this into pictures which can be appreciated by anyone with the eye to see and appreciate.

  • I've just spent some time going through your portfolio and I'm gobsmacked! I'm just about to go to Vietnam, China and Thailand and if I can come back with one or two shots as good as your work I'll be delighted.

  • Without doubt, Andy, you are one of the most accomplished landscape photographers on this site, with the ability to control light better than almost anyone else I can think of. As I have found, however, you are also very down to Earth, and ever ready to give helpful advice whenever asked.

  • Like Doug, Louise, you are one of the foremost landscape artists on this site, and your work is an inspiration to us all. Such artistry can only to a certain extent be learnt, and without doubt you both have a special talent.

  • I've followed your pics ever sinc I joined ePz about 18 months ago, John. Your work was always excellent, and you have developed a very distinctive style. I frequently see similarities to andytvcams' pics in your uploads, and that's a pretty high accolade.

  • Don't know how I've missed your work so far as there's some fantastic stuff in your PF.

  • Not only in my favourites list, Paul, but right up there in the top few of the list! Keep up the good work!

  • Without doubt, Doug, you are one of the foremost landscape photographers on this site. Your portfolio portrays our country, albeit already beautiful, in a way which very few have the skill to do. Lang may yer lum reek!

  • Victor - your mastery of both photography and Photoshop leave me stunned! I would kill to have your capabilities.

  • By and large I'm not usually a flower fan, but with your pics I make an exception. Your portfolio is excellent.
