Hello.
An area of the Stroudwater canal there are two sets of Swans with Cygnets getting ready to leave. In the mean time the Cygnets off one of the sets are practicing their flying technique. I was walking alongside the canal when all of a sudden these three became a sort of airborn. All I done was put the camera in their direction and press the button. I was expecting them to fly so I had all the settings ready.Considering I had no prior notice of the take off, I sort of managed to capture them. I am pleased with the result. I was there a couple of hours and this is the only time they went airborne. It is a lovely area with a church close to the canal with plenty to see walking alongside for a great distance.
